1. Integrated approaches of case management

Aim: plan and implement an effective and efficient counselling and integration process by
starting from the specific background of the migrant
Target group: staff involved in any kind of integration of unemployed migrants
Output:

- Curriculum development for professional staff
- Further training and improving the qualification of staff concerned with
local employment promotion.
- Development of technical standards and guidelines for the handling of case
management and of coaching tasks for working with migrants

2. Training - Coaching

Aim: development of a support system for adolescent migrants to find vocational training
possibilities
Target group: adolescent migrants and staff involved in any kind of integration of unemployed
migrants
Output:

- Intercultural and advisory training
- Vocational Training for adolescent migrants
- Development of Standards for the advisory of migrants
3. Strengthening training orientation

Aim: Increasing the willingness of young migrants to attend vocational training programs
Target group: young migrants and their parents, teachers and other personnel involved in
advisory work
Output:

- Positive change of attitudes of migrants and their parents towards vocational training
- Network of disseminators (well-integrated migrants) to support migrant
families in their decision for voc. Training
- Public relation campaign "Get some training - it's worth it!"
- Cooperation with teachers and schools
- Sensitizing/involvement of all specialists to intercultural differences and
difficulties in the issue of vocational training
4. Learning German and IT competences

Aim: Training in different qualification courses to improve the knowledge of German as well as
skills in the field of DP and the new media
Target group: migrants who are unemployed and social welfare recipients, participating in
employment measures and those being employed but with little qualification.
Output:

- Different offer of courses (German language, language combined with IT-courses, IT-courses)
- Development of a qualification program for German teachers (German as a
second language)
- Development of learning material to increase self-earn skills

5. Intercultural competence

Aim: achievement of the ability to communicate, to resolve conflict, to cooperate, and
solidarity with migrants (to be realized with/ on a top-down-approach)
Target group: High-level staff working for companies (managers), for the local government and
for labour administrations.
Output:

- Development of a concept "Train the Trainers" and of a handbook on intercultural competences
- Intercultural training and conflict management (40h training during 3
months)
- Implementation of a concept by the company / administration, etc.
6. Monitoring migration and the labour market in the Rhine-Main area

Aim: Creation of an adequate database of supply and demand related facts, structures and
conditions regarding migrants in the region of Rhine-Main and evaluation of the partnership
Target group: all members of DP
Output:

- Reports of the labour market from statistical data
- Report of the results of the inquiry of companies
- Quarterly reports about the evaluated projects
7. Gender-mainstreaming

Aim: Equal opportunities for men and women
Target group: all members of DP
Output:

- Embodiment of gender competence at a strategic level (note: the director of the Office of the
Advancement of Women /Frankfurt is member of the core group)
- Acquiring gender competence within the DP
- Gender training for all members of the project
8. Transnational Cooperation

Aim: Coordination of the transnational partnership
Target Group: all members of the transnational partnership DP's
