Targets
One of the main targets is the facilitation of the access to the labour market for unemployed migrants
and improving employability by (for example)
- planning and implementing an effective and efficient counselling and integration process by
starting from the specific background of the migrants
- improvement of language and IT-skills of migrants and offering access to IT-competence (these
courses for workers with minimal qualifications are held in companies and therefore play a roll in
the prevention of unemployment).
Another target is to increase the participation of young migrants during their training, by
strengthening training orientation. Here we started a public relation compaign called "get some
training - it's worth it", whereby the young migrants themselves played an important roll - in
accordance with the EQUAL stipulations.
